Tasmania’s public sector workers say they’ve long felt undervalued as unions push for new deals with the State Government.

A revised one-year offer of a 3% pay rise has been knocked back, while the government insists it’s fair given a tight budget.So what does a 'fair' deal look like, and can Tasmania attract workers to much-needed sectors like health and education without competitive pay and conditions?
