Burials aren't so much a historical masterpiece as it is a regional masterpiece. Though it has changed some throughout history with the invention of cremation and with better body preservation techniques, the more traditional part is the ceremonial burials that give the grieving families time to care for and prepare their loved ones for their afterlife. All except the western world that is, with its modern medicine and cold disposition towards death and bodies.
