Paul powerfully expounds upon the truth that God, in Jesus the Christ, has created a single new humanity; a humanity unified in Christ that destroys hostility, disunity and division. All those who belong to Christ–no matter race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status–are the new people of God!

Today’s church may no longer face the question of the integration of Jew and Gentile into a single family; however, we face the question on whether or not our churches are still divided in any way along racial or cultural lines. What does God’s word have to say to us about this?
