The Holy Spirit desires to bring about unity in the body. But true abiding unity only comes when the individual body parts stop contending for what they want and submit themselves wholly to what the Head leads. The Holy Spirit desires to produce health in the body, but the body parts may not like the path it takes to get there, and may fight against it.
