It is not the task of the church to repackage or change the church or to make it comfortable. It is the task of the church to listen to the Word of God and to respond to it with action. Unity was the primary mission of Jesus while He was here, and we see that unity was evident all the way back in creation. God worked in divine unity to create man and release him to work, and it is the same mission for the church today.
