You will notice that the candles on the Advent Wreath include a pink one that is lighted on the Sunday of 'Joy'.  This is called the 'Gaudete' candle which is the first word of an ancient Latin Christmas carol and it simply means 'Rejoice!'  On this last Sunday of Advent, let's join as a spiritual community to rejoice with one another as we prepare for the birth of the Christ in us.
