For Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Beloved Community wasn’t a utopian fantasy, but an achievable goal.  In the Beloved Community, love, kindness, compassion, and inclusion, replace injustice, hatred, violence, and discrimination.  Jesus called this the Kingdom of Heaven.  Spirit is calling Unity Center of Cedar Rapids to live even more fully into The Beloved Community as we seek to share the wonder and joy of God’s Love.
