In chapter 2 of Romans, Paul, who has so clearly and powerfully made the case of Gentile guilt, now turns his sights on the Jews, to show that they, despite their opinion of themselves, are equally guilty before God. But beware, there are powerful applications in these verses for us in the church as well.
