I’m Salina Thompson, PMP®, Founder and Chief Project Strategist of Savvy Empire Consulting, and this podcast is where project management leaves the conference room and shows up in real life.

After more than a decade working across operations, project management, systems, business strategy, CRM implementation, and automation, I’ve learned something simple:

Everything is a project.

Running a business is a project. Managing a team is a project. Fixing broken processes is a project. Growing without burning yourself out? Definitely a project.

At Savvy Empire Consulting, I help service-based businesses—especially HVAC, plumbing, and other home-service companies—move away from owner-dependent operations and build systems that support accountability, stronger customer experiences, and sustainable growth.

But Universal PMP goes beyond business systems.

This show is about how we manage priorities, money, technology, relationships, change, risk, expectations, and all the moving pieces life keeps throwing at us.

In this first episode, I’m introducing who I am, why I created this podcast, and why project management thinking is useful far beyond people with “Project Manager” in their job title.

Because the goal isn’t to control everything.

It’s to get better at managing what comes next.
