Andrew Hall is the club soccer president at UNL. He started his tenure in August of 2022 and will end his tenure in May of 2023 where he will also graduate. All of the games played in the spring season were won, except for one tie against the University of Iowa’s club team. They won the Nebraska cup by beating UNK, UNO and Creighton while also beating K-State. We talked with Edric Teut and Aidan Ryan who are two of Hall’s players on the team. At the University of Iowa, we spoke with Broc Hawkins and Dennis Winter who are president and vice president respectively. The main points covered were the workload of being a club soccer president and how that can impact the players on the team for the years to come. There are underlying challenges being through being a leader, but our interviewees show that it is a pleasure to run a successful program.
