UNL Secures $2M in Seed Funding

Listen Later

UNL, a Singapore- and Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based “Internet of Places” startup, raised $2m in seed funding.
Led by Xander van der Heijden, CEO and founder, UNL provides a smart addressing platform for navigation and location-based services.
The company is building the Internet of Places – a network where real-life locations are coupled with their smart UNL digital doppelgangers to enable a whole new dimension of location-based applications and micro-services on top of the UNL infrastructure.
UNL has created a (3d) grid on top of the Earth’s surface and give every cell a unique location ID.
To every cell the system attaches:multiple layers of metadata, making locations context rich;navigation logic improving both in- and outdoor routing and navigation;smart layer (powered by distributed ledger technology), making locations transactional, programmable and auditable. | To read full story, visit https://startuparound.com/read/1585045812.010918/UNL-Secures-$2M-in-Seed-Funding?ref=audio_experience
