Delivered on our Lord's Day, 13 December 2020, at North Baptist Church, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.
With Jesus being called the Good Shepherd, the Great Shepherd, and the Chief Shepherd, the Bible has always had a high view of shepherds. But the gentiles did not. They were the most unlikely of messengers, and yet God chose to use them to be the first to share the gospel good news. We are more like the shepherds than what we would want to admit, and yet God has chosen to use us too.
