So, the government has been shut down, this time by Democrats. In fact, it has been coined the "Schumer shutdown," named for minority Democrat leader of the Senate Chuck Schumer. It's ridiculous. The bottom line is that nothing in the bill offends Democrats. They won't vote in favor of it because they want to ram through a complex immigration issue and tack it on to a budget bill.
