It feels like a million years since this podcast was about “Mystery Science Theater 3000” but it once was. I know, it’s hard to believe, because it’s so goddamn memorable now.
Anyway, for the discussion of “Danger: Diabolik”, the original series finale, we cut an extensive Detour into Austin Powers, the international man of mystery.
But the excised stuff didn't hit the cutting room floor because it was too melancholy or profound. It was too shagadelic! It was too switched on. It made us too horny, baby!
Thrill as we gush about the inaugural 1997 installment then quickly lose patience with recycled gags and halfhearted performances, eventually erupting in outright hostility over the superfluous 6-minute (!!) cold open to "Goldmember".
It's time for some rage podcasting again (and some love too), so join your wonky yet affable host!
