Title: The Rich Man and Lazarus
Theme:  The Great Reversal - Jesus is talking directly to the Pharisees (with others in earshot, of course) about the condition of their heart.  Earlier in his teachings, he said things like "The first shall be last and the last, first..." This is a parable to show the eternal impact of these words.  Outer appearances mean nothing - it's the condition of someone's heart that sets their eternal course.
