When you understand your identity, you begin to unlock it.

In creation order it is interesting to note that part of the reasoning behind being created in His image was dominion. Because mankind was made in God’s image mankind had the ability to rule. This is embedded in God’s DNA.

Is there something in your life over which you don’t have dominion? A habit, money etc. Your were created to rule. When we meditate on God’s nature and realise that we were created in His image, we begin to take charge instead of living like victims. When Adam fell, this image was eroded. Christ came to redeem this.
