Welcome back everyone to the Hike’s Peak podcast! Thank you for coming back to the mountain! This past week of Mountain West football was electric! Jeff Choate and Nevada took Boise State down to the wire, but somewhat controversially, fell seven points short of the upset. The Battle for the Golden Pineapple was as advertised, with UNLV outlasting Hawaii, 29-27. San Jose State clinched bowl eligibility for the third year in a row with an elite defensive performance against Oregon State, and last but not least, we had Air Force shocking the conference by upsetting Fresno State for their first FBS win of the season. We’ll break down all of those barn burners, and we’ll end the show with our game of the week, with Boise State traveling to CEFCU Stadium to take on the upstart San Jose State Spartans. Lots on the line this week, so let’s dive in!
