New Mexico upsets #18 Washington State at University Stadium in Albuquerque, NM. Wazzou, who still had a chance to make the College Football Playoff saw their chances diminish at the hands of UNM quarterback Devon Dampier. Dampier finished the game with 367 total yards of offense and 4 TD's. Following the 38-35 win, Dampier was name National Player of the Week by the Associated Press.
