We delve into Elijah's story, where his high hopes following the triumph on Mount Carmel were met with crushing disappointment, leading him to a state of despair. Yet, in his darkest moments, God met Elijah with sustaining grace, providing rest and nourishment. This sermon emphasizes that, like Elijah, we often find ourselves struggling with unmet expectations, but God's response is to meet us in our brokenness, sustaining and guiding us through His grace.
