Little did he know, his experiences and hard work brought him to become a pianist for a timeless Indonesian music group, Maliq & D’ Essentials in 2002 and he had no choice to leave in 2011. Turns out, the decision for him to leave the band it’s the start for every success that he achieved to this day. From composing music for famous Indonesian movies like “Keluarga Cemara” and “Imperfect” to Indonesia top song hits — today Ifa Fachir is known for his own hand-crafted melodies, his passion for the musical industry, and his undoubtedly talent in film scoring.
