Gloria Widjaja is an Indonesian badminton player from PB Djarum. She successfully titled the 2011 Indonesia National and World Junior Champions in the mixed doubles event. For her achievements, she was awarded as the best Djarum player of the year. However, she didn’t has an easy route. Coming from a low-middle class family, she had to work extra miles to be recognized as a women badminton player. She experienced body shaming throughout her career, but she thrived through and through. “Connection with my inner peace, lean on God’s presence, and pray faithfully” Widjaja mentioned this has been her secret sauce through her journey.
