Organic waste constitutes a staggering 25% of all municipal solid waste, revealing a significant challenge for urban waste management systems. Despite this substantial proportion, only 5% of organic waste is currently being treated.  

Addressing common misconceptions, we debunk the myths surrounding composting. Contrary to popular belief, modern composting techniques do not have the negative effects often associated with them. Instead, they offer significant environmental benefits and represent a viable solution for managing organic waste.
