The PSL title race is hotting up and as it is poised to go down the wire, it’s becoming more and more difficult to tell which club is likely to be crowned PSL Champions when the curtain falls on the 2016/2017 season on May 27. The ever-improving Bidvest Wits made their intentions known when they dramatically snatched three points from defending champions with a 1-0 victory on Monday. Could that have been the title-decider? Apparently not, according to Soccer analyst Sudesh Singh who believes, despite Cape Town City’s great run throughout the season and Wits sitting at the top of the log with the title theirs to lose, Mamelodi Sundowns have a better championship pedigree and that shall be proven in the last few matches.
