At 20 years old, Natilie Williams received her Bachelors from Central Michigan University. At 22, she received her Masters in Communication from Illinois State University. Natilie graduated with both degrees without a dime of student loan debt! She currently travels the nation (virtually now, because COVID) inspiring students and other groups to lead with legacy, push through their circumstances and achieve even their wildest dreams. In this episode, we discuss her doctoral research on the "ghosting" phenomenon and what it means for black women and black sisterhood, in particular. While Ms. Williams's research focuses on the black community, it's worth noting that anyone who has fallen prey to or perpetrated ghosting (pulled a Caspar, as we like to say) will benefit from the discourse. We also discuss learning to extend grace to ourselves, so that we and those in our circle receive only the most healthy and whole version of who we are - topics she covers in her upcoming book Innerview: Lessons in Leadership, which will be available in November of 2020.
