Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth and the life."  Truth is part of God's character and the best thing about it, it brings freedom into our lives. The Bible also says that satan is the father of lies. He loves to deceive us and if we are not careful, be can believe a lies about God, ourselves, and others.
