Survivors and families of victims who were either killed or disappeared during South Africa’s liberation struggle, together with the Foundation for Human Rights have filed a court application that seeks to oppose an application by former President Thabo Mbeki and former Justice Minister Bridget Mabandla. Mbeki and Mabandla are seeking leave to intervene on the basis that they have a direct and substantial interest in the proceedings as they are accused of political interference, something they have both denied.
GUEST: Dr Zaid Kimmie, Executive Director of the Foundation for Human Rights
