Next, I reflect on my initial impressions as I embarked on Week 0 of student teaching. I discuss the preparations made to get ready, including the professional development activities I’ve participated in, the planning and organization of materials, and the specific strategies I’ve employed to prepare both mentally and professionally. I share insights into which aspects of professional development have been particularly impactful.
