This finale was extremely entertaining . . . but it wasn't satisfying. But can there be a satisfying end to such a beautiful complicated mess of a show? Probably not. The world is better for having this little wrapup, even if it was rushed and bottled.
Dropped plot threads: Capheus's election (and all the senseates he met!), Lito's Hollywood career, Sun's brother, Rajan snitching on Ajay, Sebastian, Lila's cluster and their motivations . . .

There's lots of new fun to be milked from what we do get, though, and I'm astonished that the lovely chemistry extends to actors who have never been in a scene together. Dani continues to be impressive in everything she does, Bug speaks all the languages, and the pure unbridled joy on Felix's face when he bonds with Rajan over being in the hospital (?).

We could have done without Wolfgang's mom's trauma, but the bulk of the finale seems to be focused on gathering everyone together and finally giving us a timeline of Aneglica's journey. Jonas unfortunately gets sidelined, and we also learn about the Lacuna and what Whispers is really up to.

The action fizzles but the emotional ending scene was perfect, bringing everyone together for a promise of a brighter future. Also, no one does an orgy scene like the Wachowski sisters.

Goodbye, sensates.

Capheus: His security detail betrayed him, but Superpower, of all people, saved him.

Kala: Rajan is turning his buddies into the authorities, and tells her to bounce. Also we fight about him as a good husband. I'm right, of course. Also she's making blockers with very poor lab safety.

Riley: Finds a dead body with Diego, and serves as a proxy for Will to chat with the dying Cipher. Also, I expand my wachowskiverse theory.

Jonas: Appears to have crossed to the dark side. Is he a survivor or a good guy sleeper agent? Who's to say?

Bug: Looks great in a white tux.

Felix: Doesn't like his coworkers.

Silas: Doing Capheus's Mom.

Jela: Also there.

Diego: Still a whiny straight boy.

Cipher: Dies.

Teagan: Married.

Nando: Hot.

Lila: Trying to turn Berlin into a Sense8-friendly city. And I think she's the big bad.

Wolfgang: Captured, tortured.

Will; Concocts a risky plan to get all the Sense8's (Plus Amanita!) to london. We're hoping Dani and Nando stayed behind, there's enough danger here. Also Jonas and Whispers have been kidnapped.

Well guys, we've come to a realization. As much fun and interesting as this show is, the fact that it has been cancelled has cast a shadow over our little project. Bitches is frustrated and wants to talk about the plot threads that won't get resolved, and she can't reveal to me which ones they are.
This sucks.

So, we're going to be doing a single megasode on the rest of the season, before diving back into Buffy/Angel. We're just as dissapointted as you, but, well, we've also had a listener dropoff, so I guess the market has spoken.

Nomi: Finds the cabin, has a memory of Angelica that doesn't make a whole lot of sense, or look good for her past.

Sun: Reunited with her dog. Probably going to fuck that cop again.

Capheus: Called it. Also, straight dudes are terrible. Universal truth.

Wolfgang and Kala flirt in a bathroom AGAIN.

Capheus is running for office maybe? Also he saves a baby.

Riley visits and underground lab.

Will is there for some reason.

Lito tries to track down his first boyfriend.

This title makes no sense.

This was a super exciting epsiode, and Sun is finally boosted from and I've been saying for weeks that they need to do something about Sun. And it finally happens.

Sun sucks up all the energy of this episode, and it's glorious. Of all the sensates, she's the one who has never really needed much assistance from anyone else, so it's nice to see everyone pitching in to get her out of a jam.

Wolfgang has something vaguely interesting going on- he manages to lock eyes with another sensate, so I'm back on board with his storyline.

Lito gets a new apartment, this time with Dani as a permanent roommate. I love this.

There's some very beautiful Jonas time. But of course the guy who ruins it is named Todd.

And we have another suicide mission from a sensate- seems you can't keep Mr. Whispers down.

Super tense, and I can't wait for the next one!

Time to check in with our sensates! This was a fun, meaty episode that made me pump my fist.
Sun: Nice scene bonding with her fellow prisoners. Not much here.

Capheus: Might get laid.

Wolfgang. Vague mob ties (yawn) and mommy issues (better than daddy issues?).

Kala: Very helpful to Will & Riley. Also we fight about her and Rajan.

Lito: Painful movie premiere. Move to the states, buddy!

Nomi: Doing the investigative legwork. Is in chicago now. And Sarah's death is actually important to the plot. I want more of this. And more of naked Amanita.

Will: Surprisingly badass for being in a heroin coma the whole time.

Riley: Finally useful! We wonder if Will is in on the deception. I think so. Welcome to relevance, Riles!

It's been so long since we talked about Sense8!
The gang is back, and I'm a little salty on having to wait so long to view the Christmas Special. Also on how long it took to come out.

This was a very good episode, even for a two-hour-long one. We get to check in with all 8 of the gang, to see what new challenges they are going to be facing. Here's a rundown:

Nomi: Still on the run with Neets. Hiding out with Bug who can't help but be adorable, also Amanita is so extra all the time.

Kala: I'm anti-Kala at this point, Your husband is the best man on earth and you don't deserve him and you don't love him. Let him off the hook.

Capheus: New bus. Not much else.

Wolfgang: UGGGGGGHHHHH we already had a season of him running from/fighting the mob to avenge Felix. Why are we repeating ourselves?

Sun: Pretty damn interesting, and she has our group effort to beat the three hitmen. She needs to break out of prison.

Riley&Will: Will is sotned all the time, but Whispers is targeting Will's dad. Scary, but there isn't a whole lot he can do about it. Also a Jonas sighting.

Lito: YES YES YES! He's the only one who seems to be dealing with new challenges, and they did not decide to go for the cliched parental rejection upon coming out. Nando is still cute, and I'm surprised that Daniela is becoming part of the family.

The Wachowski sisters rarely if ever fail to be interesting, and I *really* liked this episode, but I have to be honest, I want this show to start moving towards resolution rather than rehashing the same challenges again. It's been two years since the last season, and their history suggests drawing out sequels are not their strong suit. I hope this season is the last, because I would rather want more at the end rather than lose interest.

We cover Will, who inexplicably has a crush on Riley, and Nomi, who has the best girlfriend ever. Also, we cover the actual meta-plot rather than everyone's bullshit.
