• To know the love of God is to manifest His love.  Without this manifestation one could not possibly know, or ever have known, God or His love.   
• How does one express love for God? John tells us that love for God means keeping His commands, which involves how we treat one another. 
• Love is always demonstrated by actions. 
• Our love for others should recognize their needs, and we should seek to maintain a right relationship with them. 
• The love we have for other believers will demonstrate the fact that we are indwelt by God.
