Charles Miller, a musician from the California Funk Band War, had a passion for music and played multiple instruments. He joined Night Shift and later formed War with Eric Burdon. Miller's deep voice is heard on War's hit song 'Low Rider' and he was credited with writing the song. Tragically, Miller was stabbed to death in a botched street robbery and no one has been arrested or prosecuted for his murder.
