Between 1909 and 1914, an unknown serial killer known as the Atlanta Ripper murdered at least 15 women in Atlanta. The victims were all dark-skinned, in their early 20s, and described as good-looking and neatly dressed. The killer used a knife or sharp object to commit the murders and would mutilate the bodies after death. The case remains unsolved, with no conclusive proof that the murders were carried out by one person.
