Building a nuclear bomb isn't a deterrence. Instead, it doesn't create peace. The reason Hamas attacked Israel may have been because Iran now has obtained nuclear weapons. Building weapons of mass destruction don't promote peace and if you don't think the size of a refrigerator with a nuclear bomb can't be smuggled and stored in any city of America, then you're either naive or just plain stupid. Building nuclear weapons has opened the door to unimagined destruction. The war in the Middle East is going to expand. Someday, someway it will come to this country. It never was a deterrence.
