The Holy Spirit is inviting us to depart from living according to our five senses and believe in the finished work of Jesus. He is eager for us not to equate our devotion to the Lord, or our belief in the finished work of Jesus, with mere fleshly emotion or excitement. God, in His kindness, is not going to birth heaven around us before truly birthing it in us.
