In this episode, I’m joined by Dr. Nathan Riley, a rare kind of OB-GYN who views birth as a sacred, physiological event—not a medical procedure to control. Founder of Beloved Holistics, Dr. Riley champions VBAC access, home birth, true informed consent, and honoring the innate intelligence of the female body. Together, we explore the cultural shift needed in maternity care, share our personal stories, and remind women that they do have choices—because birth was never meant to be something done to us, but something we are powerfully part of.

-Many women carry fear—whether from past trauma, negative birth stories, or the culture of birth in hospitals. 

-Many women, including myself, have been told that it’s too risky to have a VBAC, mainly due to uterine rupture risks: Challenging that narrative.
