Publisher's Summary:
Falling for your brother's best friend can be tricky...and fun!
Genevieve Hannigan has longed for her brother's best friend, Wallace, as long as she can remember. When she couldn't have the man of her dreams, she married his doppelganger. But Genevieve quickly finds that substitutes are never as good as the real thing. Now, with a disastrous two-month marriage behind her, she's back in town and about to go after studly, hard-bodied contractor Wallace - the only man who's ever put the cream in her pie.
As his best friend's little sister, Genevieve has always been strictly off-limits to Wallace. Just one taste of gorgeous Gen, and he may have discovered the secret ingredient missing in all his serial dating.
But when Gen's ex-husband shows up in town with hopes to reconcile, Wallace's life is about to get turned upside down.

Wallace...who knew he was the romantic Turlock?
Read the first three in two days! In this chapter of the folks from Starlight Hill we are back with the Turlock family. Wallace, the oldest brother and the little sister of his best friend. Genevieve has always loved Wallace, Wallace has always loved Gen as a little sister... Until he notices she's not so little. Then he spends the next few years not looking at her, and serial dating his way through town. Gen meets Wallace's doppelgänger on a singles cruise and marries him two months later. Once she realizes what she's done, that's she's married a substitute she doesn't love, and that is unfair to her husband, she files for divorce and she comes home... And then things get interesting.
This was a great story, a quick read with just enough of other family members to make a quick catch up easy. Can't wait to visit more of the residents of Starlight Hill!
Good book!
This was a good book. I bought it because i read the second book with Billy and Brooke and it was very good and captivating. This book just seemed rushed and didnât have much depth. They have been friends forever and that was the whole plot. Nothing about the characters but n detail like her previous book. But I am on to the next book Scott story.
Funny and light hearted
This book was a really fun read! Very light hearted and funny at times. Gen is a hoot and after making a huge mistake by marrying a man who simply reminded her of her true love, she is ready to get the man she really wants. Of course, he's wanted her for years, as well, but needs to admit it and understand the true depth of his feelings for her. I really like this author and look forward to the next book in the series.

I'm not usually one for romances, especially sappy ones like this, but there was something interesting about the writing. I know it wasn't the characters because I really wanted to hit Wallace and Gen over the head with a frying pan for being so dense.
Very predictable and short
I felt like the characters spent more time apart then actually together. I get that they had known each other for ten years but we didn't really get much depth in the relationship or details behind the characters. Not much to the story. It was an ok read. Ending didn't really do much for me.
