Continuation of EP 11: IN THE BEGINNING

When Kemi and I became close she shared with me her battle with depression and anxiety.  A hard working woman who laid in bed for days during her days off because depression used to get the best of her.  We discussed this illness beginning with her mother and how she feels it carried from mother to child.

I got the idea to talk about the difference between moving on and moving forward from the Ted Talk Podcast.  

On this episode I reveal 10 things that helped me begin the process of moving forward.  Now that we're on the journey of healing and clarity, it's time to make decisions, finalize them and move forward.

Ho'oponopono, is an Hawaiin prayer made famous by Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len.  Through SITH, Self I-Dentity Through Ho'oponopono, he was able to heal a ward of criminals by first healing himself.  When I learned of this method it was evident that I needed to try it.  It doesn't involve burning candles or lifting your arms, its very simple and something you can repeat anytime and any day.  The prayer recites, I'M SORRY, PLEASE FORGIVE ME, THANK YOU AND I LOVE YOU.  

If you ever feel yourself in a funk that you can't get out of recite these four phrases repeatedly until the power of forgiveness and love takes over.
