A standout in B.C. Lacrosse, Ryland Rees comes from a very athletic family. He was the youngest member of the U19 team BC, played at the U19 Team Canada Camp. Played in all 16 games his rookie year in NCAA Div 1 @ New York, Stonybrook University.
He was drafted 2nd overall in 2019 NLL draft to the expansion team Rochester Knighthawks after being the 2019 East Defensive Player of the year and first team All-conference selection in 2018 and 2019. Then he was drafted first pick in the second round to the Waterdogs of the PLL which was also an expansion team and then was part of the Championship team in 2022. He played for Team Canada in the World Lacrosse Championships.
