When God lavished his Son onto humanity, it was the gift that ends all others. As people, we know that a gift speaks to the value of the relationship the giver has with the receiver. Gifts of highest value require planning and thought and usually cost a significant amount. The gift of Jesus shows just how much God truly loves us. We see that Jesus is a gift of eternal PLANNING and PREPARATION, PERSONALIZED to our greatest need and UNIQUE to each individual. It is the gift of God HIMSELF to us. A GIFT to be received, not repaid or earned in any way. Truly, the greatest gift of all!
