On this episode of Mormon Book Reviews Steven Pynakker had the privilege to have Brian Stutzman as a in person guest at his Christian community in Florida. Using the facilities of a local Evangelical church they were able to have this wonderful conversation about the history of Warsaw Illinois. Brian author of "The History of Warsaw Illinois: Including the Mormon Period" discusses what drove him to write the very first history of this community and the important role it has played to help heal old wounds. We discuss Thomas Sharp, the participants who killed Joseph Smith, the sham trial of the defendants, and the bravery of Eliza Graham to testify at the trial. Steven Pynakker talks about the importance of reading the book if you are going to write a book review about one. Brian also discusses what its like to serve as a Bishop in a Ward of college students at BYU-Idaho. A special thanks to Brian for making the trip to film this interview it was a real pleasure!
