Approval and Achievement: foundational drives we may fail to recognize

When the LORD saw that Leah was not loved, He enabled her

to conceive, but Rachel remained childless. Genesis 29:31

Good news: God sees the unloved and the rejected

V 25: The deceiver has been deceived

…be sure that your sin will find you out. Numbers 32:23

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked.

A man reaps what he sows. Galatians 6:7

App: will the seeds we sow produce the plants we want?

V 26: God wants to move achievers to trusters

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

Rejection: not a dead-end, but redirection

Physical Beauty: The one who causes us envy by appearance may be barren inside
