Each Thanksgiving we read about Jesus healing ten lepers and only one returns to give thanks. While "giving thanks" is part of the narrative, it is not the main point of the narrative. Jesus is. The lepers didn't interact with any, ol' rabbi, they sought mercy Rabbi Jesus the Son of God. Their healing was purely out of grace…a glimpse of the Kingdom He had come to establish and that points us to the future that is awaiting you and me.
