Arlyn Charlie of Fort McPherson, N.W.T., has an important job: documenting Gwich’in culture. He captures intimate moments in nature and his community through photography, incorporating the Gwich'in language where possible. This episode is based on "Through their eyes," a feature written by fellow photographer, Peter Mather, for the winter issue of Yukon, North of Ordinary magazine.
