This week’s edition of On The Record with Randy Beamer looks at the upcoming contract negotiations between the San Antonio Police Officers Association and the city.  SAPOA President Danny Diaz explains what is new this time in the contract negotiations as the officers push for bigger paychecks.

Next, District 120 State Representative Barbara Gervin-Hawkins discusses her concerns over DHS’s purchase of an eastside warehouse to turn it into an ICE detention center. She says things could change with the planned facility after the November elections.

And on Reporter’s Roundtable, Megan Rodriguez, City Hall Reporter with the San Antonio Express-News, talks about her reporting on new efforts by five members of city council to have the Mayor investigated, and possibly censured, following a verbal altercation at City Hall.
