Pastor Jared started a new series entitled "Update Required." In the first week in the series, he spoke about how Jesus corrected the Pharisees' understanding of prayer and fasting by proclaiming it as a wedding feast. Prayer and fasting is no longer about suffering for a future kingdom. Rather, we are to pray and fast with hopeful expectations that God will act on behalf of his people and the world he is redeeming.
