On this (very late!) episode of the mental health podcast Where's the Map?, Rebecca does something a little different. I've been facing a lot of challenges lately and thought this would be a good time to use my own experience as a jumping off point to discuss coping with and navigating life when things get hard from the lens of someone who lives with mental illness. In true Rebecca fashion, as I often do when I am not 100%, I was very late to record this episode following our ninth episode in August and even later to put it out... because, y'know, procrastination. It's something I tend to do a lot when my mental health is less than fantastic. So even though this episode is coming out October 11th, it was actually recorded approximately three weeks before it was released. Hoping to have a new, "traditional" Where's the Map? episode for y'all soon. Thanks for your patience!
If you or someone you know is in need of emergency support, please call 911, visit your local emergency room or call a local distress centre or crisis services. Crisis Services Canada can be reached at 1.833.456.4566.
