Dr. Sherman Hom is the Director of Regulatory Affairs at Medicinal Genomics where he provides recommendations to regulatory officials that are tasked with drafting or modifying microbial testing regulations for cannabis, hemp, and psychedelic mushrooms to ensure safe products for patients and consumers. Before Medicinal Genomics, he was at the New Jersey Department of Health, where he led teams that started the Cannabis Testing Laboratory, the Cannabis Microbial Testing Unit, and created the “All States Medical Cannabis Program Required Testing Compendium”.
