He had been at the centre of a media storm in the past months as it was alleged he had told the BBC that documents proposing war in Iraq contained false information.

Where Curiosity Killed the Cat differs from the saturated genre of true crime is that it focuses more on mystery than investigation procedural. A lot of the cases covered do not have solid conclusions and its the fascination with the inexplicable that drives this series.
