The CPSC and UPPAbaby recall UPPAbaby RumbleSeat Adapters.  These defective adapters may detach from UPPAbaby strollers causing the attached rumbleseat to fall off leading to severe injuries for a toddler strapped into the rumbleseat.  About 86,000 of these rumbleseat accessories were sold between September, 2014 and July, 2019.  If the adapter on your UPPAbaby Rumbleseat lacks a yellow tab, it is likely defective and you must discontinue use of the rumbleseat.  You can check to see if your particular rumbleseat and its adapters are included in the recall at UPPAbaby.com.  If so, you can fill out a form to receive a free replacement adapter set.
