Esposo: Mas amor, não vai dar! Eu tenho que estar do outro lado da cidade meio-dia. Eu não posso pegar as crianças.

Esposa: Mas eu também estou ocupada. Tenho uma reunião bem nesse horário e meu chefe falou que se alguém faltar, vai ser demitido.

Esposo: Mas se eu faltar, também vou ser demitido.

Esposa: Então o que que a gente faz? A gente não conhece ninguém nessa cidade.

Esposo: Será que não tem uma van que pode buscá-los só dessa vez?

Esposa: Não. O motorista foi honesto comigo e falou que só trabalha com contrato mensal.

Esposo: Hum... E a Vívian? Ela não trabalha todos os dias. Talvez ela possa.

Husband: But my love, it won't work! I have to be on the other side of the city at noon. I can't pick up the kids.

Wife: But I'm busy too. I have a meeting right at that time and my boss said that if anyone misses it they'll be fired.

Husband: But if I miss my meeting, I'll be fired too.

Wife: So, what are we going to do? We don't know anyone in the city.
