Brijesh Patel is the longtime Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Quinnipiac University where he works directly with the men's and women's basketball and hockey programs while overseeing the development of all 21 of the university's athletic programs.


He is also utilizing the quadrant system that I have used in writing my ebook so I knew I had to get him on to see the pros and cons of implementing this system. What transpired was an awesome conversation about using a common language between performance coaches, athletes and sport coaches. Brijesh also discusses some of the training he used in-season and how it compares to his brutal, legendary offseason workouts.


We also delve into RPR. Do we see diminishing returns with it or does the patterns it engrains begin to stick? Though nutrition isn't my strong suit, Brijesh also talks about a cool product called UCAN before giving some amazing advice on staying humble, maintaining growth and taking on a truly holistic mindset.
